I'm seriously thinking of hiring a man to come and tidy my garden this year. It's mainly grass but I have fruit trees and bushes too and I've let it get out of hand. Do you always do your own gardening?

find out why the garden got "out of hand" :eek:then put a plan in place to not let it get that way again:thumbsup:. personally,i would do the 'tidy up' myself (assuming there are no restrictions)

Don't know your situation, but for me, I hate to pay somebody else to so something I can do myself! ~~ grnspot

I agree with this but I also know how to let things get out of hand...
I have done that with my orchard... just quit taking care of the trees, and well, as you might guess they are a mess...
I am not going to try to get them back to peak, as I don't have that drive any more... so I won't be trying to get those things back 'into hand'...
I do give you a tip of the hat for having the ambition to keep things up after they are righted... but you might as well do it yourself, your going to be needing to do that regularly anyway... :smile:KennyV

I'm just getting too old I suppose. I had planned on cutting back all the branches on my plum and apple trees that have grown too long, for one thing, but I never did get round to it. It was always too cold, and they have started growing again so it's too late now I think.
