My name is Earl and I live in Alberta. I work at a local golf course as the mechanic. Most of our equipment we use are John Deere mowers such as the 2500 greens mowers and 2653 trim and surround mowers along with all other pieces of equipment needed on a gol course.
At home I have a 300X lawn tractor wich is just the right size for the 11/2 acres of grass I have to cut. I found this forum interesting and I think it is a good idea for those who might need a hand. If I can help out from time to time I will.

I am not a john Deere fan but I have used 2500 greens mower. Very nice mower
I liked it better then the toro greens master.

Do you just use the 2500 on the greens or do you walk mow them also.

We always used a walker on the weekdays and the rider on the weekends.

Course I worked at had bent grass greens.
