new here. i have inherited an mtd self propelled lawn mower. It needs work but i can't find any information on it for model number or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Looks clean!
If it'a engine trouble, the model number should be stamped on the metal right above the spark plug.

Look on the cables for their part numbers, and put up the engine's numbers so we can get an approximate date.

The number off of the drive cable, and the date,

and we should be able to come up with a model number that would be helpful.

That ones not mine wish it was lol. Mine needs all new cables they're all broke and the self propelled levers and or cables are gone dont know what its supposed to have.
Engine numbers are 98982 0165 01 94102405
I think its October 2nd of 1994
