That will make it a real lawnboy so there will be no doubt what's running in the neighborhood. Charge extra for anyone wanting their alley fogged.

Well lets put it this way, if your mower is smoking that bad that you can use it to fog mosquitoes  it probably wont hurt it.

Better idea (?-subjective) is to strap a pound or two of slightly wetted
cow dung balls to the muffler, the resulting smoke will likely do a waaaay
better job on mosquitoes and add that "rural feel" to the environment.

And you can offer optional 'treatment' without having to changeout your
fuel - win win!

Safety first? On hot days carry a fire extinguisher.

My first experience with a lawn boy was a neighbors yard being mowed with a brick top lawn boy in the 70's. There was a blue haze over the entire yard (typical summer evening with no wind and high humidity). My initial thought was how does that mower run with such a small engine. I think if you want to smoke the bugs out just up your mix, and find some old 2-stroke oil that is not smokeless.

well I live in a city so cow dung was not a feasible option so I put 2 ounces of citronella oil in my gas mix and it has not ruined the engine yet. I tested it on one of my v force models I found at the curb. So far as I can tell its working

Crikey...! I read you were joking, having a laugh, pulling the
collective "leg"(forum).
I was.

Now I see you are deadly serious..!
I can see you are going to need a pinch of Ajax (TM) in
the oil/gas mix one day not far off.
Best of Lucks with you.

Citronella oil does not kill mosquitoes, it merely repels them. However in some cases it also calms barking dogs so maybe not a bad idea. Rather than mixing it with the lubricating oil I would set up a drip system to drip on (or into) the muffler.
