no brake on my lt4000

A little more detail wouldn't go amiss.

Check and make sure the washer & cotter pin did not fall off the brake rod by the axle . You can put on the brake and adjust the lock nut and spring . Try rolling the tractor as you tighten the bolt .
If you never get the brakes back you might have worn down the mini disc brake pads .

your pads may be worn as well......first!....what kind of tranny do you have?
