poulan lawn tractor with a 14.5 briggs & stratton engine wont start

Does the engine turn over? Or does it turn over and just doesn't start?

Post B&S engine numbers: model xxxxxx, type xxxx, trim xx. If engine does not turn over remove battery & take to auto parts store to be load tested, this will let you know if battery is good or bad. If engine does turn over but does not start try this, with key off rotate with both hands top of engine screen clockwise just past hard spot then try cranking with key, if it starts you need to adjust your valves with engine cold.
