Help My foam and fabric is off my seat

Got this mower for free. but the foam and fabric is separated from the actual seat. Has this ever happened to anyone. Any Ideas how/what to use to put it back on? It's still a perfect seat with no cracks or anything..

3M Super 77 Spray Adhesive works good. Make sure you clean the rust off seat pan before adhering. :wink:

Was she running when bought ?
No matter , quite the "buy"...:biggrin::tongue:
One can try Velcro, or better yet, a new seat - but these are costly.

How good/long you think that would hold, especially after it got wet? Some one else mentioned liquid nails, how would that work?

When I got it home I tryed to jump start it from the battery and nothing happened, so i jumped the starter directly and it started right up. So im not sure if thats caused from the old battery being so bad or maybe bad ignition or bad wiring, but the 12.5 briggs I/C runs like new it just needs a muffler. The second time i started it it blew the end if cause of rust lol:confused2: I would love to buy a new seat but there upwards of $50 so im trying to avoid that

I am not sure about liquid nails but I think that PL makes some glues for foam. You would have to be sure that it would work on both foam and metal. I wonder if you need to glue the foam on at all. Maybe you place the foam on and glue the covering material, likely vinyl, to the back and underneath of the seat. I don't know, I never covered one, but I think that is what I might try.
