the white engine I installed on my Husqvarna has 2 mechanism on the front where cables connect so I had to run a separate choke cable just to operate the choke and was able to connect the gas ( speed of engine ) which is control by the lever on the left side of the steering wheel ..now the problem ..the engine starts and run only when the petal is engaged and once I ease off on it the engine stalls and also when I try to engage the deck it stalls too?? my YTH 20-42 is originally suppose to operate with only 2 cable but I'm trying to operate it with 3 ..please help me because I don't know what I'm doing lol johnny

What you are saying makes less than 0 sense .
So whack up some pictures please.
Never heard of or seen a 3 cable set up
2 cables , a choke & a throttle
or
1 cable with the choke as over run on the throttle

Also the make & model of the engines would be handy , White used a lot of different engines over the years.

you're absolutely right..I meant the choke cable..?? and yeah a picture speaks a thousand words just got to figure out how to do it..thanks and give me some time to down load some pictures

I hope you're able to view these pictures one cable shows it going from the deck lever to the deck that was a no brainer.. and the other from the lever on the left of the steering wheel to the mechanism on the front lower part of engine and on the upper mechanism I installed a choke cable because I new I had to use the choke to get the engine started..?? I appreciate any help ..Johnny

HOPE YOU'RE ABLE TO VIEW THE PICTURES ..IN ONE YOU SEE THE CABLE THATS ATTACTED TO THE DECK LEVER GOING TO THE DECK AND THE OTHER CABLE GOING FROM THE LEVER ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE MACHANISM ON THE LOWER PART OF THE ENGINE AND I INSTALLED A CHOKE CABLE TO OPERATE THE CHOKE OTHER WISE I COULDN;T START THE ENGINE ...YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT LAWN TRACTORS AS YOU CAN SEE...LOL
