Hello all: I purchased a Grasshopper 725 G2 new in May of 2000, (affectionately know as Taz) and run a 61" flip deck and push snow and dirt with a 48" blade. I have a 25 bushel hopper and other than a faulty hydro in the first year, I have only replaced minor thing; just put the second PTO switch on and picked up some turf tires to try. I am on the second set of paddle tires and I am approaching 600 hours. Over $11,000 invested but it sure cut the mowing time down, and does a great job pushing snow. I do not use chains just attach the blade and hit it. I have pushed snow up over the blade and amazed my neighbors.
