why does my DIXON ZTR 30 -inch mower hop when i drive it

Going to need a little more information like is this a hydrostat drive or the older cone drive system. There has been several 30 inch models made so can you help narrow it down for us. maybe want to check the drive belt to the cone drive or to the hydrostat drives for missing chunks or bad areas to start with.
