What is a good grease that is easily obtainable (like from an auto parts store) to use in a Dana 4360-6 transaxle?
I want to tear it down and completely clean and reassemble it this weekend. But I haven't been able to find Dana 4300 grease locally yet and don't have time to order it, so was hoping there was something else now a days I could use instead.
Or if someone knows of a good place that keeps the Dana 4300 grease in stock thats soemwhere between Bellevue and Lynnwood WA, that would be great too!
TIA!

There is no known substitution for the Dana 4300 grease, and probably is not stocked readily due to the fact that they don't get torn down very often.

Oh well, found plenty of other things to work on this weekend. I have an order for some new Dana 4300 on its way. Thanks!
