I need to decide soon about mowers. I have 5-acres with some drainage ditches and various trees (a small grove of fruit trees). I'm looking in $6K-$7k range. I would like suggestions between Gravely and Pioneer as well as other mowers.
Thanks

I'm going to move this thread over to our buying and pricing section to see if we can find you some suggestions.

In 2014 looked at Exmark pioneer and gravely as final two. My local dealer whom I trust and offered great service suggested I look at the pioneer s series. It offered better hydros and I thought it felt/drive better than e series. But that was in 2014. Until I drove and mowed with demo pioneer s I would have gone with gravely. But the Exmark s series pioneer won out hands down for me.

Order of importance for me...dealer service...the better hydros in s series...kohler engine...fab deck (not stamped) with ultra cut off set to get closer cut around trees....larger wheel base....larger gas tank. Dealer added full suspension seat.

Did you pull the trigger on either?
