Shopping for a new mower and looking at Gravely ZT HD 60 vs Hustler SD 60. I'm a bit confused by the manufacturer's specs. Hustler lists acres/hr at 3.6, while Gravely says 4.8. However the speeds are 7.5 and 8.0 mph respectively. If I do the match, the Hustler should do 4.55 acres/hr and Gravely at 4.85 acres/hr. Any idea why Hustler would list such a low productivity figure compared to the Gravely? I do understand that the figures I listed would be mowing at full speed for one hour straight. Do you think Hustler is just posting some kind of average that accounts for turns (lower avg speed)?
