Has anyone used the grassflap on a liberty hero 48 in deck? If so how good did it work. Its a lot of money and do you
think its worth it?\Also thinking about some gator mulch blades to go with it, not sure what number to get.

Manual chute blockers in general are really helpful. Especially if you mow commercially and need to open and close it consistently.
I run Gator blades year round and am very pleased with them. Some people don’t like them.

I run gator blades on a 61" ferris. They do cut the grass finer than stock blades but they do not mulch. Commercial guys use chute blockers to not blow grass in flower beds. Walkways and things like that. Not to try and turn the mower into a mulcher.

I wonder if I would be better using the Hurricane Mulch kit, I do no commercial mowing. I cut my grass twice a week and it is always dry. Just
have to keep stuff out of the flower beds. If I had to cut damp grass I could do a deck cleanup after use. I like the Scag mower but clipping are
driving me nuts. I have some areas that have flower beds on both sides of the grass.

To make a better blade , stoodite weld wire has been available for nearly a century . Research the hardening process. I realize the blade hardening process will not be for every DIY -er .

I would NOT recommend any mulch kit on any zero turn. Open up the chute and let it fly! Some mowers will throw grass 8-10 feet. Evenly distributed grass is healthy for the lawn, looks better, and easier on the mower. Raise your plastic exit chute if you are leaving it all the way down.
