I am a newbie to the forum, hopefully you all can help. I have a TB200 and let's say I was not diligent in cleaning the deck the past 2 months. Anyway, I have been storing the mower in my garage and well... it stinks. I lifted the mower and discovered a ton of grass and caked on mold inside the deck.
I spent an hour hosing it out, using vinegar to help clean with a sponge, and the deck is pretty clean. However, the funky smell lingers. I dont think I can physically clean it much more. Are there any tips, tricks ... anything? My garage still stinks.
PS - I dont have a shed, the garage is my only option.
It will dissapate eventually.
That anerobic decomposition smell is not particularly nice and very strong
So some open windows and air freshener is your only option.
Decks like to be blown clean with an air duster, including the area around & under the pulleys.

I check my deck after each use, & NEVER use the water thingie called a cleaner.
I use a wooden stick that I sharpened the end & can clean any left over grass quickly..
