If search worked good I wouldn't have to ask this which im sure has been done many times before. Is there a best cutting height to set my 52'' Husqvarna zero on for a southern fescue lawn that gets cut by weekly?

Maintain or cut Fescue at a height of 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches, you can let it grow to 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 inches before cutting.

That might be what a diagram say but I can tell you it needs to be cut at 3 1/2 inches or higher. Due to the stress from the hot dry months.

And how long is a piece of string ?

Grass height wil depend on so many things it is not funny.
What is the underlaying soil ?
What is the soil pH ?
Is there automatic watering system installed & how oftern is it watered ?
What direction does the lawn face N S E or W ?
Shading ?
Sloping ?
Drainage ?
Micro Climate ?
Temperature zone ?
Usage, walked on, played football on, roped off & only looked at ?

Were talking about Fescue not St.Augustine

This is what a google search will bring or say.

Fescue – Mowing | Walter Reeves: The Georgia Gardener

Fescue Grass Guide from Armstrong Garden Centers / Armstrong Garden Centers

What Is the Proper Mowing Height for Grass in Your Yard? | Today's Homeowner

Turf-type fescue can look very good when regularly mowed at 2.5 inches. Allow it to grow to 3.75 inches before mowing.
Mowing fescue too low leads to the grass rapidly thinning out and having a very clumpy look. If you fertilize moderately, mowing a lawn should only be needed once per week.

I'm working with a company that just installed a fescue Lawn for one of my clients and there telling me the same thing.

I understand what is being discussed but I live in the south where not every home is a 1/4 acre yard or less with a built in sprinkler system.

So, I'm about as far south as you can get and I get the same answers from company's that install the stuff as I get online and the OP is in Georgia.
