What is a good entry-level ZTR mower, since I only have a small lawn care business. I don't want to spend more than a couple grand. Troy-Bilt, Husqvarna, Toro, something else??

Well I only mow around 12 lawns per week, so would that work?
I MOW 15 PER WEEK AND USE A CUB CADET ZFORCE50 RESIDENTIAL GRADE WHICH HAS HELD UP FINE----I WOULD NOT WANT TO MOW MANY 3-4 ACRE YARDS WITH THIS TYPE MOWER--HOPE
THIS HELPS

I think unless you are willing to buy used you're going to have a hard time finding a ZTR for a couple grand. Even at Home depot the cheapest ztr is going to be the RZT for around 3k out the door.
If all you're wanting to spend is 2k and buy new I'd suggest the 50 in. 24 HP Twin Kohler Courage Hydrostatic Riding Mower-LTX1050 at The Home Depot
