Gizmow won't accelerate and blades won't engage

It's been working perfectly. The ignition fuse blew and I replaced it. Now I can accelerate slowly but as soon as I increase the speed it cuts out.
I also can't engage the blades.
Have checked fuses and relays - they are ok.
Grateful for any help.

I had a similar issue. Mine was cutting off when I pressed the accelerator pedal. It ran at a low speed and cut the grass, as long as I didn't press the accelerator pedal. Once I did, it sputtered and died. I changed the fuel and air filters, and checked the carburetor linkage, with no success. Then, I enrolled in YouTube University. I saw a video that said the safety switch under the seat might be the issue. I pulled it and reconnected it. SUCCESS!!! I was going to call the repair shop this afternoon to schedule an appointment. YouTube saved me a ton of money. You should have seen the smile on my face when the mower took off without sputtering. LOL There are also other safety switches that you may need to be checked.

The fuse blowing suggests an electrical problem, perhaps an intermittent short. I would inspect the wiring, and jiggle/tap them with engine running to see if you can make it die.

Please provide model # info so people can look up the circuit diagrams and other info on the mower.
