Hello all,

Can anyone recommend any aftermarket literature on service information on Briggs push mower engines suchs as torque specs for head bolts, valve clearance specs and such?

Im struggling to find anything good online.

One good source is Briggs itself, they have books for categories (single cylinder OHV, two cyl. air cooled, even antique engines). For example : https://shop.briggsandstratton.com/...tton-276781-single-cylinder-ohv-repair-manual

Briggs put out a chart with all that on called "Check Chart common specs all engines" and another called Check Chart common specs metric engines"
The former of course being for imperial sized engines.
Should be all over the web
Does not print out big enough to be read any smaller than A2 size.
They have numbers so you should be able to order one from your friendly B & S dealer.
Other than that the same information is just inside all B & S service manuals but you would need to ask some one like Walt if they are current.
