I have not posted on forum in several years. Wife had Alzheimer's for last 7 years and passed away on May 29th 2020.
I have a Montgomery Wards mower model # TMO 30000A. 18 HP opposed twin that I rebuilt engine on in 2014. Filled with oil and stored inside my shop for the past 7 years while caring for my wife. Started the mower last week and engine runs great. I have been trying to adjust the shift lever. Mower has neutral, forward and reverse. I have adjusted as per the owner manual but it is still difficult to get the gear shift to move easily into the three positions. Any assistance will be appreciated.
