W wired1141 Forum Newbie Jul 21, 2017 #1 I have a mower that has a plastic gas tank 4" above the exhaust and I wonder if that is safe? This engine is a 12.5 hp Craftsman has been changed so I don't know which engine it came with and the relation to fuel tank.
