FS38 clangs when idling

I have an old FS38. It works hard and I put it though some rough stuff. Lately it started this clanging noise while at and idle...full speed it stops. sounds like a dinging bell..It is the Clutch drum. do I need to replace just the drum or the whole clutch? It still works fine just rattles a lot!

If the idle speed is higher than it should be, that will make the clutch shoes expand & sound like a dinging bell, the clutch springs sound like they are worn/stretched & need to be replaced.
