So I found this 1984 Inline 2 Cylinder Liquid Cooled Honda 3813 at this auction/estate sale. Went and looked at it and it's in pretty bad shape. Said It hasn't ran for 12 years or more. I'm gonna try and get it for around $50-100 bucks.
Well then I looked up parts for it. New water pump $140.
Timing belt $40.
Coil packs $170
Starter $150
Radiator and hoses $200+
Even just the coolant tank is $40
I mean is it even worth it, because I know It will need a new water pump after not having ran for 12+ years and all the hoses are dry rotted on it. Been sitting outside under a tarp. Said it worked fine when it last ran. Son grew up and stopped using it.
I've never seen anything like it and hate to pass it up though.
