I have a Red Max EBZ 7150 and the plastic flex pipe has cracked causing an air leak.
Has anyone found a DIY repair for this (other than duct tape) or another pipe that is more flexible ?
Thanks.

I have a Red Max 7150 and the flex tube has sprung an air leak.
Is there a DIY repair for this other than duct tape ?
Or is there another brand blower with a more forgiving flex pipe ?
Thanks.
P.S. New to this site sorry for the double post on this question.

There's a Report feature on the lower left of posts. You can report it to an admin/moderator and ask that it be deleted. I won't be hurt if this reply gets deleted.
You can try "Goop" adhesive, Shoe Goo or tent seam sealer. But I fear that even though they're flexible it will fail on something that is constantly flexing. It all depends on what type of failure you've had and exactly where.

OK thanks. Now I know what to do to delete something if I have to.

I did some research and bought silicone tape.
Cleaned the area with Acetone where the flex pipe had cracked open and used the tape over that area.
To made a complete bond the tape has to set for 24 hours.
Let's see what happens.

Here is a picture of where the flex tube failed.
It's on the outer /upper side of the flex joint.
It is wrapped with the Silicone tape already.
I believe it failed do to work hardening that area.
I outlined it in masking tape.
