I'm currently replacing the crank shaft (replacing the original bent PTO end of the crank shaft) in a GCV160 which is two years old (mounted to a HRR216K10VKAA model). It's beyond me how anyone could abuse a two year old Honda lawn mower, but I digress. I tore down the engine and waiting on parts. The internal aspect of the engine is that it is very clean inside and no foreign debris found. Being that it is my first try at this (I'm very mechanically incline) and there are seasoned DIY-ers on this forum. How successful has this type of rebuild been for others and what glitches did anyone come across during such repair. Here are some picture of the GCV160 halved. Thank you all who reply.
