Ok so we pull up to our last house on Monday to mow. We try to start the mower and it will not start. It sounds like it wants to and nothing. Machine has spark and compression. Fuel is getting to the carb and the carb has suction. Not sure what else to try. Occasionally when we try to start it will have a pop come out the Carb. I am not sure if this could be a fly wheel problem or not. When we pull the cord to try and start it pulls kind of hard. It has the Kawaski FC420V engine on it and the model # is DDSKA 1579. Any help would be appreciated.

Just how are you making these test. You are testing the spark under compression right? You are using a compression gauge. Fuel to the carburetor but is it going into the compression chamber or on top of the piston. And the last thing timing. If you have these four things it will run.

Is the fuel solenoid on the bottom of the carb opening?
You should hear it click (may need a helper) when you turn the key part way.
It blocks off all fuel to the fuel nozzle when the needle/plunger is not energized.

I put my hand over the carb with the filter off and it was sucking my hand as we pulled the cord. The spark plug we removed and and had it touching a wrench and sparked as we pulled the cord. I downloaded the manual and it says check the battery, however, this machine does not have a battery and says to check the fuse but I don't see any.
