I just recently bought an ex mark vantage and I feel like at times there’s a lot left on the table in regards to top speed, sometimes it’s fine, I thought the mower would be faster so I made a statement, and the guy said that you can adjust it, and he had it adjust to have more in reverse. Is this a such thing? Can you adjust the throttle to have more top speed? I hope this isn’t confusing. Thanks!
Get out & get under the mower.
The levers will have adjustments where they attach to the control arms on the transmission.
You can adjust them but be careful as the latter ( el-cheapos ) ones do not have a separate adjustment for neutral position so you end up with the levers in the wrong position to go into the park position when the mower is stationary.
