Toro 20334 recycler mower -- briggs and stratton engine. Replaced governor in winter -- since that period excessive oil usage seen blue smoke indicates oil is burning. Oil needs to be added with each usage. I do not have torque wrenches so perhaps bolts putting bottom section (where oil is located) were not at correct tightness? In any case, mower runs fine, but simply burns oil. Suggestions anyone? Thanks

Did you take the cylinder head off for any reason while doing that?
And to clarify the smoke is coming out of The exhaust correct? Not from any other place like it's leaking?

The spark plug would be getting heavily oil fouled, + combustion chamber..
What grade oil are ya using ?
