etesia mvehh hydraulic problem

i have an etesia mvehh mower and the hydraulics that empty the grass box has stopped working and not sure where to start assessing what has failed as far as i can see there are only four parts to the system , pump,valve actuators and relief valve any ideas where i start, oil and filter changed earlier this year.
