Engine won't crank on x300

Hello,
My wife tried to surprise me by cutting the grass while I was at work, but as she was trying to start my x300 it wouldn't crank after the 4 or 5th time she attempted to start it. She said that it would try to start, but after about the 4th or 5th time, it won't even crank now. I'm thinking that maybe she has burned up the starter, or solenoid, or something along those lines. Am I in the ball park here, or should I be looking elsewhere. Thanks, Sam

BTW, I even tried jumpstarting it, and it won't crank.

Also, this is in reference to my John Deere x300, not the Scott's tractor. Although, it's a good thing I kept the Scott's because it became my go to tractor when the Deere wouldn't start.

There is a possibility of an electrical issue. If you have a voltmeter check the battery, the starter switch, and so on. It could also be more complicated however I would check all the wires and electrical components first.

Make sure the fuse isn't blown.
