Husqvarna 917.374426 Walk-behind Mower
B&S Engine - 122T02-1093-E1

Engine and mower will run fine once started. The engine will not start off the cord unless I spray carb cleaner directly into carburetor.

I have replaced the spark plug, air filter, and cleaned the carburetor.

Any ideas?

have you changed oil, cleaned underside of deck, removed blade for cleaning, inspecting, sharpening, balancing & reinstalling & torquing to specs. in manual, adjust valves with engine cold per specs. in operators manual.

If it was me I would be cleaning and rebuilding the carb.

Only 2 reasons that it won't start but runs fine
1) choke not closing fully / primer not working
2) idle circuit in carb partially blocked
3) bad fuel that no longer has the highly volatile aromatics that evaporate at room temperature so a cold engine can start.

If it will start quite happily when hot No 2 is knocked out .

As for cleaned the carb,
unless it was done as per the instructions contained at the outdoor power Equipment site then it has not been cleaned.
