engine oil

Going to do first oil change in my ferris mower. Say to use sae 30 or 10w30. I use to use the exmark synthetic in my other mower. Any thoughts on using rotella 10w30 synthetic in it? 22 a gallon. Can't really beat it. Know its great for trucks.

Castrol 10w-30 is all I use unless it specifies to use synthetic, but I service mine mower every 50 hrs and all other items at least once per year unless I use them enough to require more.
Now my Generac home back-up generator specifies synthetic and I do run the Castrol Synthetic in it.
