I've heard of this but I don't see it in private party sales. Is it bigger in dealer sales?

Private party sales generally lower their prices during 'off-season' times Because they are after moving their used mower the same as a retailer is trying to reduce inventory... :smile:KennyV

Private party sales generally speaking don't do much with there pricing in the off season, you may catch a business on Craigslist wanting to sell there stuff cheaper so they can upgrade to new stuff. Dealers on the other hand like to try to move there inventory for the new stuff that's coming in. Sometimes your better off waiting until the new stuff comes in and is on the floor and asking the dealer to check the warehouses for last years inventory. When I purchased my walk behind I picked up a last years model 36" commercial for about $600 less than there floor model.
