Well...I've got a ton or two of oak leaves that need to be mulched. How good are the eliminator blades when used with the block off plate? I don't have the hurricane mulch system.

I'm not much help...
I don't know of the blade. I think the Scag cover would work well. That's how you mulch on a sears tractor by blocking the deck exhaust port. The tractors mulch well, so I had the same thought process when I ordered the Scag. I never tried that cover as of now, however.
