On my CubCadet Zero turn ZT the blades quit working while I was mowing grass. As we know, the blades stop when in reverse, when I went forward they did not turn on again. I tested the clutch and it's fine, the PTO switch is also ok. What else do I need to check for? Thanks!
Some mowers have a separate fuse for the pto clutch, so may be something to check. Are you getting 12 volts at the clutch plug, Some clutches have an adjustable air gap and over time can get out of spec which can result in them not re-engaging when warm or sometimes shutting off.
