When i engage the pto my amp meter go's to discharge. Need help on this problem. It is a 17.5 hp craftsman model 917-273643 It will run till the battery goes dead. then shuts down
Probably the voltage regulator. I had to change one on my DLT2000 2 years ago. There is a test procedure depending on what charging system you have to determine if it's the stator or regulator.
