ECHO weedeater fuel issue

I have a Echo GT 200R string trimmer that I have put 2 carbs on and runs and Idles fine but when I shut it off I have gas runs out the breather. I put a new carb on because the old carb did the same thing. Any Ideas on what makes it do that?

Retrace your steps installing new carburetor making sure parts are installed correctly & in order, always use OEM Echo parts.

Ah Ha, I think I,ve found the problem, when I put new fuel lines in the return line is a clear one and very soft compared to the old one which is hard to to age. I must of pinched it inside the grommet which would,nt alow the gas to flow back into the tank. So I re did it started it up and did,nt noticed any gas coming out the breather. I,ll keep my fingers crossed and hope that was the problem.
