E130_drive belt engagement cable keeps popping out

not much to tell... it's been going on for a couple of weeks. when i move the engagement lever to the 12:00 position, I hear a pop and the belt and blades stop moving. the attachment shows how crappy the design is... when engaged, the cable gets very tight against the plastic piece with the hole. with repeated use, it's developed a divit allowing the cable to pop out easier. hopefully one of you have heard of this problem cause it can't only be me.
