Steers right fine but when turning left I can see the steering sector gear lifts up slightly. Can't tell what the problem is precisely and I hate throwing money at things. Anyone figured out how to solve this problem with ingenuity rather than more dollars?
Remove deck & see if you have two bolts & nuts, one on either side of steering gear. If so, loosen nuts & push gears closer together & tighten them. Grease gears both sector & pinion annually, wipe off old grease at service interval & install new grease. Metal on metal does not cut it.
There is no adjustment possible. If the bushings are worn, only complete replacement is possible; unless, you are very at removing welds and installing custom made bushings,
