Buy your parts from a reputable supplier. eBay and Amazon aren't 100% reputable. The belt and pulleys were replaced 2 years ago. I'm sure the belt is routed correctly. I imagine it's possible that the pulleys that I purchased were not the best quality. I will have to remove the deck and crawl under and check it all.
Any ideas for a reliable source for the belt and pulleys, if needed? The current ones were purchased from eBay.
Thanks
Parts Tree sells quality parts.
Sellers who carry Stens or Rotary parts are also good choices.
You will definitely need to get your deck out of the way to check everything.
Also, look at where the transmission bolts to the frame. Look for any cracks.
