Do I actually need a blade balance?

Man, didnt expect 80 replies lol. Thanks everyone so much. Ended up grabbin the magnetic balancer and gave it a shot this weekend. While I was at it I also checked my tire pressure since a few of you mentioned it. Cut looked way more even after so honestly no clue which one did the trick, but hey problem solved. Thanks again!

Inflation to recommended tire pressures, delivers a correctly aligned chassis, which will results in a level cutter deck (assuming correctly adjusted).

Ride on mower tires are notorious for loosing pressure. If a nice even cut is important to you, CHECK YOUR TIRE PRESSURES BEFORE STARTING WORK

And you're starting above the centerline of the blade. Just where do you think the majority of the mass is now?

I do not understand your response, can you rephrase it for me? Like chainsaw blades, I sharpen a set for a few times and then I move onto a new blade.
