New guy here so take it easy on me, have a 03 TB Bronco with 42" deck, my friend said if mowing in anything below level 4 belt slips. I bought a MTD belt removed deck an checked all pulleys freed an oiled all moving parts an put back together, adjusted deck height an engaged pto. On level 4 an 5 belt was pretty good but 3 an down it is not as good so I took it thru the yard an it slips on 3 an below. I have checked everything I know of, with pto engaged the cable an spring on deck is bottomed out. I mowed for about a hour on 4 to give belt time to seat but still same thing. I have searched for videos or manuals but have found nothing, need HELP here an keep in mind this is the older deck. mod#13av60kg011 ser#1k058h10113

Really need the model from the serial number under the seat and the part number of the belt you brought.

two things deck hangers worn allowing deck to shift forward or pulleys worn allowing belt to run too low in grooves, or bottom out

That is not a 2003 but is a 2008-2009 model and uses a 1/2 x 109.5" belt PN 954-04045.

ok I think I got it, I took cable off an heated an shorten the spring about 1/4" that seems to have taken care of that now if I can figure out why when it gets hot it wants to put bubbles back into tank an mower wants to stumble. even after its turned off it still bubbles into gas tank.
