We had a couple of dove chicks hatch in a nest in our garden a couple of weeks ago but this morning I watched as their mother pushed their dead bodies out of the nest. So sad! I think they must have been too early.
That is so cruel, or I think it is. But I suppose for a bird it may be normal. I could not imagine pushing a dead baby out of its crib and moving on. I had a cat that did that once.
