D100 Won't Run But will Turn Over and Start for a Second

Joh Deere D100. New Carb. New Plug. Fuel Pump is working. Blew out the fuel lines.

Two days after using it, it wouldn't start. Put a little carb cleaner into the intake and it started, but wouldn't run. It has a spark, fuel pump is working. Sometimes it won't even turn over after the carb cleaner straight into the carb. I'm baffled... After it sits for a while, it will sometimes turn over once, but immediately dies. Fuel, air, spark... Any advice?

Thanks,
Greg

Post engine manufacturer, model & serial numbers all information.
See Troubleshooting in Operators Manual above. If B&S engine you need to check valve lash with engine cold.

Remove the blower housing and the flywheel bolt check the timing key
The 2 halves of the slot must come together to make a perfect square
Remove rocker cover check the actions of the pushrods & valves
Adjust the valve lash to 0.005" both sides
Note vale length & cam lifts are identical so valves should protrude the same amount each side

Please be careful with your post
Fire = engine goes bang
Start = engine goes bang, bang bang bang
Run = start for longer time
Turn over = cranks = goes round

I figured it out. An animal had chewed the wire that powers the fuel cutoff solenoid.
