Current Market Value

Hi all, got a question. I'm looking at picking up a Commercial Snapper. It has a Robin-Subaru engine on it. Guy is asking $300 but willing to give it to me for $250. I guess I'm just looking for opinions at how much I should pay for something like this and maybe what it's current value is. Here's a pic of it.

I'd call a lawnmower shop to see if you can still get parts for the Robin-Subaru engine. If not, then 250.00 seems high for a boat anchor. FWIW, Home-Depot sells a Subaru lawnmower for like 299.00 that has a commercial grade (cast iron cylinder liner) engine.

I've never spent more than 110.00 for a used commercial grade mower, and I have a lot of really nice commercial mowers. Would I spend 250.00 for that mower,,,,no.
