Cub Model numbers

I just got a zero turn cub, believe its a Z42, it has a Briggs 2 cylinder opposed, 18 hp engine. I can not find model number.
I ordered a clutch not knowing for sure if it was right, of course it was wrong. Where can I get help finding the model number?

You might look on the bottom of the seat, it is a MTD and I have found a few ther . If you have not bypassed the reverse clutch cut out switches you might want to, this will stop the clutch going bad again.

The seat is not original so that wont help, The big problem I have is the clutch cw or ccw?

The following should help on the determination of CW or CCW. Look at the fiction plate ties from the pulley side.


Also your old PTO clutch will the OEM part on it like Warner 5218-220 or Oruga PN #######
