So, I need to replace the mower belt. The belt is smooth on 1 side and curved on the other. Should the belt fit into the pulleys with the smooth side to the pulley and the rounded side facing outward? Thank you.
The beveled side should fit into the wedge of the pulley with the flat side out. Depending on the pulley setup as with a tensioner the flat side would ride on the 'flat' tensioner pulley. Hopefully that makes sense.
