Sooo...I know that this is a lawn mower forum, and I'm asking a question about something that is basically the opposite of a mower (it shreds lawns), but I value the knowledge of the people on this forum, and feel like I would have better luck here than other places...
Attached is an image of the front of my Husqvarna CRT900 Tiller. There is a black wire, just hanging there, that looks like it should plug into something... I've looked at the manual, and I don't see this wire mentioned anywhere.
Does anyone know what this wire should be hooked to? The tiller runs great, so I'm not all that concerned (heck, the foolish thing started on the very first pull from taking it out of the shipping crate).
I checked last night...the tiller starts great, and cuts off as it should with the on/off switch located near the throttle control.
For the life of me, I can't find any place where that wire should plug into...I guess I'll be sending an email to Husqvarna. :smile:

That wire is for a remote kill switch, which you don't have. Briggs on some of there engines are set up for multiple appications, so will have extra wires sometimes. For your use you can just ignore the wire. It has no use for your application.

Some of their models probably had engines with low oil cutoff switches, that is about the right location....... They just use
the same wiring for all of their models.
