I have recently noticed the axle on my tiller has a good amount of play. How would you fix this problem? Or Would it be okay to use it as it is?...... this is a 5hp craftsman rear time tiller from the 90s.

Can you provide us with the model number off your tiller? Remember we are not standing next to you to see what you have. With the current lockdown and stay at home, our ESP does not work.

By play do you mean up/down play or in/out play? Up/down play is normally caused by worn axle bushings.

It's a little bit of both... do you know if the case has to be split apart to replace bushings?
