I have a craftsman t3000 and was trying to find out if a transmission out of a yts3000 would work in the t3000 both are foot pedal. The T3000 leaks and its plastic but the yts3000 has a aluminum transmission. I can see the top of the transmission on the yts but on the T there is a gas tank above it. So just seeing if anyone else has done this

Sounds like two different brands of transmissions so may be complicated. The plastic one sounds like General transmission or GT and the aluminum would be tuff torq or hydrogear.
